Dustin Johnson Finishes 3rd, Leads 4 Aces to Win at Bedminster Invitational

The exciting LIV Golf series headed to Trump Bedminster in Bedminster, New Jersey for the third installment of the new golf league. Coming of their huge win in Portland, the 4 Aces team was looking to win back-to-back titles. With new comers such as Henrick Stenson, and Charles Howell III, Dustin Johnson knew he had to play his best to lockup another team win.

This LIV event was a little different, running Friday to Sunday. Trump Bedminster was going looking to be a tough test for the game’s best golfers. Dustin Johnson got off to a great start shooting a first round 67. It was an up and down 67 that included six birdies and 4 bogies, but nonetheless, DJ was sitting T4 after day one. The team was in a good spot thanks to DJ’s 67 and Patrick Reed’s 64. Dustin kept the ball rolling for team 4 Aces in the second round making four birdies en-route to a second round 69. The team was near the lead thanks to another 64, this time by Talor Gooch.

Heading into the final round team 4 Aces knew they would need stellar final rounds if they wanted to win back-to-back titles. Team Captain, Dustin Johnson, led the way in the final round making four birdies to shoot a final round 68. Team 4 Aces went on to win in a runaway with a final score of 25-under par. Another dominating win for this team means they are the ones to beat in LIV.

Next up for DJ, LIV Golf from Boston in September.
