PGA TOUR star Dustin Johnson is offering one golf fan an opportunity to go “inside the ropes” and caddy for him on Hilton Head, South Carolina for a day – April 11 – during one of the professional circuit’s most popular events: the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links.
Johnson, 33 and currently the world’s top-ranked player, is a “big shot” in more ways that one: he recently hit the longest drive in PGA Tour history – 489 yards – at a tournament in Texas. He won the 2016 U.S. Open and, like only Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods before him, captured at least one victory in each of his first 11 years on Tour.
Proceeds of the auction will benefit the Dustin Johnson Foundation, which works to provide opportunities for youth inMyrtle Beach to learn, play golf and compete in life – giving them a competitive edge on and off the golf course.
Bidding, which opened at $25,000 and closes on April 5, is available now for those 18-years and older at www.Charitybuzz.com/DustinJohnson
